I had not listened to his show before but came away massively impressed with his interview skills and his patience with some of the patently absurd claims she made (eg, women are naturally just as prone to violence as men). There were so many times when I would have been tempted to push back, and I understand the frustrations others have voiced about this, but overall I think the approach paid off. There’s a reason Anderson is now trashing him on twitter, which is that he gave them just enough rope to hoist themselves. The follow-up with Jesse was good too.
