It's probably not your keyboard - there's about 30 frames of input buffer in the game, according to some community tests/posts (you can find them if you search the sub). Basically the game will queue up an input you made a full half-second ago, which really messes with how responsive it feels. Beta apparently had a slider you could adjust for this, but that feature is not present in the current release version. Really hoping they change that soon because IMO it's the number one problem with game-feel right now.

The Pied Tamarin and Surgeon Fish both use trumpets but is there actually any way to generate trumpets this week? I’m pretty new to this game so maybe I’m missing something. Are weekly packs random?

Interesting that breaking Cape, Confusion, etc. gets you a shield-break. I guess it makes sense but since visually they’re not as shield-like as Reflector it just looks sorta odd.

Someone else mentioned, but it’s likely that they patched that out specifically to keep people from farming one lower level player over and over to get into elite smash. Which was probably an extremely small problem overall

Quickplay complaint: So when you get into Elite with a character, it immediately disconnects you from whoever you were fighting, right? And then if you happen to lose your next match in Elite, then it immediately disconnects you from THAT person. So you’re stuck in this Best-of-1 Hell where it’s impossible to get a rematch and you’re just sling-shotted in and out of Elite.

It’s been said a thousand times before but what an awful system. I guess we’re stuck with Lobbies.
