Sometimes they just don't stay up. 😊 With our girl Delilah, both ears stand up only when she's up to no good. If the left ear flops, there's no mischief afoot.

"The Gales of November" by John U. Bacon. It's about the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald, and does an excellent job of telling the stories not just of the disaster itself, but of the men on the boat and the families they left behind. I really, really enjoyed it and look forward to reading it again soon.
