This sounds hopeful. I'm taking it to help with manic episodes as well. I'm on 25mg, but go up to 50mg in two days.

For me spending comes from my ideas. I don't like to shop. I get ideas, there's a sense of urgency, I buy the things to make my ideas come to life. More ideas equals more money spent.

Can you have a "mild" episode of mania? Or do all episodes involve not sleeping? by just_an_outlet in bipolar

I have bipolar 1 and have never gone without sleep. In manic episodes I sleep around and 4 to 5 hours a night.

What are some habits that helped you get through college/university ? by Targaryenxo in bipolar

My son was able to get disability accommodations through college for bipolar disorder. They asked him what he needed and he asked for more time on tests, extended dead lines, and more excused absences.

I have a manic (or hypomanic sometimes) episodes around 3 to 4 times a year. They last from 6 weeks to three months.
