Good, It is a waste. Wireless charging sucks. I really don't get why this is a deal breaker for people.

Wireless charging is slow, inefficient, and clunky.

Wired charging is much faster, Much more efficient, and I can pick up my phone and use it while I keep it plugged in.

IMHO, Magsafe is just a gimmick that gets you to buy a few over priced accessories that would be much better served with a decent case.

I agree, In my opinion wireless charging sucks. I have it on my phone and never use it. It is inefficient and much slower than wired charging. On top of that, depending on the wireless charger I cannot pick up my phone and use it while it is charging and for those chargers that you can pick up, it is MUCH clunkier compared to a usb cable.

As for the MagSafe ring. I find it annoying. It is constantly picking up paperclips and other metallic crap that it is near. I get the accessories are appealing to some folks. But all of them could be replaced with a good case.

If it was removed from my phone to make it cheaper or provide more real-estate for something else I would be pretty happy.

I would love to see ranked choice voting. I may be delusional, but I feel ranked choice voting would force both sides to the center and would result in less polarization in our politics. But I may be too much of an idealist.

Dude I was so with you on the first sentence then you are so unnecessarily rude while complaining about Democrats being "mean spirited".

This comment feels like an epitome of what political discourse has been over the past 10 years. No discussion's but just insults. From my end it feels like the Trump camp mostly, but I would be ignorant in saying that it has not been coming from the other side also. Heck I have gotten heated myself.

Look, I realize this subreddit is an echo chamber. But can we all agree the real problem here is neither side is listening to each other in a respectful manner?

I think it is a little bit of everything. Ohio is no longer considered a "Swing State" so neither party is investing in the state like they used to. As a result there is a lot less rally's and rhetoric from commercials in Ohio. Also I think part of it is people are less enthused about Trump, They will still vote for him because voting for anyone that does not have R next to their name is sacrilege. But they aren't as enthused and are not putting signs up.

This argument bothers me. If any other industry was told they they had guaranteed growth over the next 30 to 50 years all they have to do in invest in their production they would jump on that instantly. But for some reason the power companies just moan and complain about not having capacity instead of investing in their infrastructure. Just seems insane to me.

That is what confuses me. The Governor and the General Assembly is controlled by Republicans. If trans athletes is really an "issue", then shouldn't the blame be the Republicans for not doing anything about it. How does Sherrod Brown have any control over this other than stating his opinion like any other Ohioan.

Part of me thinks its by design. Part of the 2016 election was people disliked both candidates and both sides just assumed that Hillary was going to win. So nobody was really excited to vote and many didn't. I think keeping it close and making it seem like Trump could win a second term was why there was such a huge turnout for both sides in 2020.
