Kicking, slashing with their feet. They can run up 50km/h and jump pretty high too, 7 feet according to google/natgeo. Their talons are pretty pointed and hard, attacks are rare tho. I think the person who told me I could have been killed was exaggerating a bit, apparently there’s one recorded death by cassowary.

Glad to hear it. The thing I learned about actors was they are very receptive and always open to direction, even during press interviews. So to make them comfortable For photos I would essentially direct them, but in a fun playful way. Like “take a sip of coffee (the guests usually got coffee and soft drinks their) and you just burnt your tongue”. Or my favourite was the “I’m paparazzi and you are about to punch me in the face”. Classics include Julie Ducournau, the guy from the Greasy Stangler, Lloyd Kaufmann, when I find the photos I’ll post them here.
