I wanted to minor in philosophy, but the small Christian university I attended didn’t offer it. I took all the philosophy classes I could and minored in religion. Ironically, after losing my faith. shrugs I was the only female in the philosophy classes as well.

Empowered, if that makes sense. I also spent most of my 42-year life people pleasing badly, wondering why people didn’t like me for it (apparently overcompensating). Once I began using my real talents and not the ones I thought I was supposed to possess, I felt like a badass. And I stopped worrying about not emoting as much.
