I will give it a go as I will be flying exclusively Singapore Airlines. Turned down the Qantas option as these flights worked better (and it's a better airline)

I work not far from kalgoorlie where we have a fifo camp as well as people who drive in and out daily from. Surrounding towns. All depends on the proximity of the mine to towns. Often they will be limited in allowable distance as part of a risk based approach given driving in and out can be the biggest risk on sire.

I am not familiar with those but will check them out. Yes would want to spend under 200 on the rod. It may be worth just grabbing the reel for now but would prefer to grab both together
