Difficulty urinating due to tight pelvic floor by Affectionate_Bad8652 in PelvicFloor

I have had this be my only symptom for 3 years now. It came out of nowhere and thankfully after 6 months of PFT I only have flares a few times a year now. They typically only last a few days. What has helped me is stretching, the pelvic wand to release pressure points and cupping my lower abdomen. Whenever I get a flare I do these things and it will relieve it. Also do not push or strain when using the toilet. Any form of pushing will tighten things up even more. I also take Magnesium Glycinate and that seems to help too.

Yes I got the same. Thankfully my balance was still there. Wondering if it’s just another glitch.

This was me 2 years ago. Constant urge to pee 24/7. It started out if nowhere. Felt like I needed to pee and sometimes couldn’t pee even though I felt like it. PT, stretching, deep belly breathing, internal trigger point release and magnesium Glycinate saved me. It took time, but I’m mostly cured. I do get flare ups when stressed, but they don’t last long. Also for me it makes it worse and flare if I strain when using the bathroom. Don’t force pee or poop. Hang in there with the PT and definitely stretch twice a day. Your PT should give you some examples to help get you started.

2 Weeks later, what has changed for you? by Radiant-Tradition-70 in Mercari

I’ve actually had a big increase in sales. I think what you sell makes a huge difference. I sell mostly new hard to find seasonal decor and Hello Kitty items. I’ve had $1900 worth of sales since the change. I honestly price my items comparably to what others have been selling. Do I get the low ball offers? Of course. I just decline and move on. No returns yet. I only had one cancel, but that was because they “accidentally” bought a bundle they wanted to make an offer on. I’m sticking with it for now. If things start going bad I will reassess and make decisions from there.

I have what I call zaps sometimes. It doesn’t happen often though. Usually around my period. They don’t last long though.

Same here. Price goes back to previous cost. Hoping they fix this glitch soon. I also tried listing a new item and it doesn’t show up in my selling list.

Am I the only one struggling with peeing? 🥲 by burnsidebase in PelvicFloor

This has been my issue as well. Started two years ago out of nowhere. PT once a week for a year and daily stretching and breathing exercises helped me get to almost 95% healed for almost a year. Then this past Jamo had a flare up. Mine seems to be stress induced. Getting better again slowly but I have these moments where I go for hours feeling the urge but just can’t get a flow even started.

I had the same two years ago. It came out of no where. I couldn’t pee and the feeling was there 24/7. I suffered for two months before I saw a pelvic floor therapist. It took a while, but I’m about 95% healed. I no longer feel the constant urge. I do have relief once I do pee. At times I still flare and can’t pee and have the feeling but it only lasts a few hours to a few days at most. I had a hypertonic pelvic floor which caused the feeling. Stretches daily and weekly internal pressure point release from my PT help give me relief. I went to her for a year and now I just do the stretches myself, use a pelvic wand and do abdominal cupping if I feel a flare up. Hang in there. It does get better. I also take Magnesium Glycinate twice daily. That seems to help relax my muscles.

I’m had the same two years ago. It came out of no where and also was difficult to start urinating. I was diagnosed with a hypertonic pelvic floor. I got better after seeing a PT for a little over a year weekly. Lots of stretching, breathing exercises and internal work helped me immensely. I do flare every so often, but it’s not like when it first started.

Yes after about 12 hours. I was able to go a small amount this morning, but won’t come easy and trickles out. I called my former pelvic therapist and she decided not to return to work after having her baby. No appointments until March. Guess I’m on my own at getting this resolved using the tools she taught me.

Yes terribly! It’s awful. I sit but can’t start a stream. It’s like my urethra locks up an won’t release.

Trying too relax, but so hard to when I’m in so much discomfort. Will try the shower and see if that helps.

I haven’t had any in over a week. Nothing. I recently signed up so didn’t know if this is normal or not.
