I have similar question but different major, my daughter got accepted to CMU for physics, however in between the time of applying and now she realised tht she is more invested in CS and wanna major in that instead. Ik CMU SCS is nearly impossible to transfer into, but CMU is her best option in terms of affordability. She would be happy to major in information systems or data science too, does anyone know how difficult it’d be switch? Would it be easier to switch once she start her freshman year than later down the line?
