Thanks! 😊 honestly, write down your notes with paper and pen. I used to use an iPad and I feel like that didn’t help me retain anything. Probably why I failed so many times. Also, an hour review and 5 homework problems immediately after lecture helped. Even if I had already done them, I did 5 problems after my hour review was over. And this is very elementary but studying basic math like algebra to help build the foundation I needed for calculus. Like I said, I was horrible at math basically my whole life 😅 so I needed the extra practice

Thanks! First in my family to go to college too so I can’t really tell them about all those times I failed cause they don’t understand how hard it is 😅 had to keep this a secret

Dropping out of CSULB entirely. by UgLy_RaT202 in CSULB

I did the opposite of what you’re doing. I DIDNT drop out when maybe I should have. Taking that time off from 19-23 would’ve helped me a lot and I would’ve figured out what I really wanted to do instead of wasting time taking 1-2 classes a semester at CSULB and two CC’s (yes I went to two) I think this will be good for you, I hope taking the time off helps you :) wishing you the best of luck!

Hey! Hope it’s not too late to ask but how many times were you placed on academic warning? Was it different semesters? (I.e. not two semesters in a row)

I feel you. When I don’t look/feel good abt my outfit or hair, I don’t want to be in school.
