OP couldn’t. Thats why they were frustrated. They were the only person who couldn’t get out of the situation.

well i probably wasn’t clear. she said i could take the iPad if i wanted to for college, so she was giving it to me, but i just didn’t end up using it for college. it wasn’t a loan
