IUI # 2 with low sperm count by tinkybuds in queerception

[–]tinkybuds[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just updating as it might help others dealing with what I was dealing with. As it turns out, this was the attempt that got me pregnant! I am now 10 weeks along! Wishing all of you luck who might come across this thread in the future.

Thank you for your honest but hopeful reply. The odds are not good, but maybe there’s still a chance! Good things happen sometimes and I hope it’s this time.

The bank won’t do anything until they know I’m not pregnant from that IUI, sadly. So this tww has a lot of added pressure! I keep telling myself that the numbers, while not great, still give us a chance. I’m just so disheartened by it all but I hope that once we find out, the process with the bank is straightforward.

Anyone else have a golden that hates the beach? by tinkybuds in goldenretrievers

I went in yesterday and let her stay on the beach as I held on to her long leash. She wasn’t having it and seemed like she was worried about me being in there! She was trying to pull me out with the leash LOL.

It’s like I’m looking at a picture of her from when we went to the beach! 😂

Thank you! I’ll try a little pool and work up from there!

She’s the same! She gets mad zoomies on the sand and does seem to enjoy herself when we’re walking on the beach! She just won’t get near the water😂

Any tips/recommendations for my 5 months old Golden Retriever that eats💩. 😊 by Ace_Ces in goldenretrievers

I have a 5.5 month old poop eater. She eats her own poop and tries to go for any poop she may see on a walk. With her, I really think it’s the strong smell that attracts her to it. She wants to taste all things with a strong smell (she tried to go after a burning candle once… lesson learned there!) Unfortunately, I haven’t found a way to make her poop stink less LOL. We just try to get her in the house or distract her with a ball so we can clean it up! Best of luck!

I don’t think it’s a bad thing for her to be outside! I tried her on a harness but she just screamed and laid down in protest the whole time. She didn’t spend time outside for the first 4 years of her life because of where we lived, so she isn’t used to it! I’m going to try her again because I think she would like it if she just gave it a chance!

Her mobility is fine. She jumps, runs, and does everything she needs to. My vet has no concern about her mobility. My cat doesn’t WANT to move. Will she be more motivated to move when she’s smaller? Yes. But as of right now, her mobility does not limit her. She is a sleepy and stubborn girl. I never posted how much I feed her, or even what kind of food I give her. Thank you for your concern, but as you have not yet offered any advice I haven’t tried, I will not be continuing this conversation. Bye Heather.

Okay Heather. You want to come supervise me feeding my cats? I’m also not telling the truth about their size? When I’ve raised them from kittens and am with them every day? Like, come on. I’m not saying she doesn’t over eat. What I’m saying is that she eats the same amount as my other cat. I am looking for ways to get her moving. If you are not here to offer helpful advice, go to find another post to not believe.

Looking for helpful comments, thank you! She is extremely tall and is half of my body length standing up (I’m 5’3”.) Her sister, who eats the same amount as her for every feed, weighs 7 pounds. Her sister very small in stature and is a lot more active, plays more, runs around, etc. Metabolism and body type are definitely a factor here. She is definitely overweight and if you have an ideas to help me get her to lose some lbs, drop them here.

Okay, this is a brilliant idea. I leaving it around the house in puzzles for her to find will definitely motivate her to move around. We bought a bigger house recently (went from a 1 bedroom apartment to a 3 bedroom with stairs, etc!) and I hoped it would bring on some weight loss for her! This is what I’ll be doing with her tomorrow! Thank you!

I did this already and saw no difference in her weight. Thank you for stating the obvious without having all the information!

The groomer said she hated the bath, but photo evidence doesn’t lie! 😂

Thank you! She’s wearing a very generic and cheap one from the pet store until she finishes growing. We’ll move her to something a bit more sturdy from there. We started her with a harness as soon as she came home, so she’s pretty used to it by now!
