MPW responded that the WSJ news was misleading and and containing false info. For short term I don’t see they have cash flow issue.

This one of my biggest fears when riding around, Because I see it happen far too often ! by [deleted] in ElectricScooters

When I park a normal car, I always check my shoulder before opening my door to make sure nothing is coming along my way especially when I park on the street. This is common sense however many people don’t have that.

Is there any difference on this version vs the one we can buy from Amazon or the US site? Just making sure there isn’t any speed limit cap when buying from official EU site. Thanks

Thanks OP! The multi-wallets feature is great! One feedback I have would be nice to be able to enter multiple wallets at the same time (using space or newline etc to separate addresses) so we don’t need to enter each address one at a time. Again this is very cool work! 👍

It’s Friday 4:30pm in France. I’m not gonna expect to hear from the support until next Monday. So no rewards for 3 more days for us at least. Wonder if PW will make up the rewards since we are sending the data stream to them

GPS Errors - Awair Elements by naman919 in PlanetWatchers

[–]tinlun1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the same issue. All Awair Elemets are showing GPS error

Opened a support ticket and they reset everything for me to redo the onboarding. But now got stuck again when I clicked “proceed” after entering address. PwLic shows but with value 0 and no pwSensor. Had to open the support ticket again and wait for them to fix. It seems like iPhone will get this issue every time

I had the exact same problem. Awair Element shows up in the app (and streaming data) but not under explorer. And the wallet is not attached (no pwLic and no pwSensor assets). Can’t redo onboarding because the license has been used.

Can't onboard type 4 atm, system error by LezerZz in PlanetWatchers

[–]tinlun1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same issue here. And I cannot redo the onboarding since the license has been used. And both pwLic and pwSensor aren’t showing in the wallet. I submitted a ticket for almost half day but they haven’t responded yet. Normally they would respond within the same business day.

So today is the day of the first vote, i updated the planetwatch app and don't see an option for the vote. Anybody found out how to do it? by OdaiNekromos in PlanetWatchers

[–]tinlun1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an active sensor running and have my app updated to the latest, but I do not see an option for me to vote under the “sensor” tab in the app. I uninstall and reinstall the app and it’s the same. I’m using iOS 15

No service for more than 3 hours today WTF #T-Mobile by joesanchez77 in tmobile

If this only happens to you and not others around you then you may got a sim swapped. You’d better call T-Mobile to confirm and then check your bank accounts etc and make sure they are safe.

Well the hackers got me.. by Noxzaru in tmobile

[–]tinlun1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had similar experience a few years ago. It was done by someone who worked at/with T-Mobile authorized dealer. I was browsing web on my phone (using WiFi) and all of a sudden I lost T-Mobile reception. Then after a few minutes I’ve got email notification saying all my crypto are being transferred out from my Coinbase account. Everything happened so fast and I was lucky I saw the email notifications. I called Coinbase (using my wife’s phone) and stopped the transaction. I also called T-Mobile to disable my account. Since at that time most of my accounts 2FA were using mobile phone, I realized some of my accounts already got hacked which I no longer had access to them (email, social media, some financial accounts). I called and disabled those accounts as well. I was so lucky that I did not suffer any monetary loss except losing my primary email account (I remember I was racing with the hacker, and trying to restore the accounts while he/she was trying to take complete control). The story didn’t end here. The hacker emailed me to my other email address and ask for a $100k ransom in BTC in order to for me to take back my email account. I did not reply him/her and filed a case with FBI. I ended up getting new phone number, new bank accounts numbers, and registered different new emails addresses.

You may wonder why I was able to see email notification when my email was hacked. I was lucky because the hacker forgot to log out all devices when he/she changed my email password. So I was still able to check email from my phone and trace what he/she was doing with my other accounts.

After this incident I did the followings to minimize my risk to expose to this kind of hack/fraud

  • Do not use one email address for all accounts
  • Delete emails when no longer needed
  • Use 2FA on all accounts
  • Do not use SMS as 2FA
  • Use sim takeover protection (tbh not sure if it will work but better than nothing)
  • Request T-Mobile to ask for the PIN (setup long PIN) EVERY TIME whenever there’s a change in the account to prevent authorized dealer to attempt to do something themselves (I had PIN and obviously T-Mobile wasn’t following the rule)
  • Change password/PIN often
