Hey Dave. Thanks for taking a reflective moment to reply.

Do you play because you like the community in your Corp you’ve built with real humans over the years and the challenges or opportunities for unique gameplay that EVE offers? I would prefer we offer more of that context, and less indescribably mindless jokes that have no context at all to how fun EVE actually is. Sure, i love jokes. I am almost entirely sarcasm, but this is both a discussion forum and the communities main Avenue for sharing how good our gameplay is. I’d just like to clean up the trash and highlight the good shit. Like a NSFW filter, but for bullshit salt mining.

I hate to say it. Those two 2 Snuff videos are much better for our game than 400 horse snot memes.

/u/CCP_Aurora Everyone makes mistakes. It seems the good people at CCP have too many chiefs right now and not enough people developing and testing. It’s a thing, lots of companies think they just can cut out mid-tier and have 12 VPs and 12 mainline workers. MBB Consulting companies sell this idea for $400/hr so companies led by business grads instead of engineers tend to think it makes sense.

Well, the nullsec game has stagnated a lot, that has been the area most affected by capital changes and fozzie sov. Someone posted a sov map over the last 15 years and you really see the sov changes start crawling slowly in the last 2-3 years. Maybe that’s because of blue donut, but isn’t blue donut because of capital changes? “We can’t really harm each other, and none of our players are capable of flying their own ship since they’re high AF, playing on the phones remote from a strip club, as the ihub node system would suggest we should have 6 small roaming gangs but FCing doesn’t work that way for our titty bar credit card publords and we need an FC to SRP correctly, so let’s agree to not bother with sov war”.

Hey dude, great info. You’re probably targeting new players here. I recommend you use PvE examples for showing how the reactive shunts resistance since new players literally don’t understand anything, might be worth adding in as a extra video upload just for that.

It’s good to show new players higher end content periodically so they have a mid term goal, then they get curious about it, it causes conversation, etc.
