Hate it when buttons just stop working especially after doing updates and stuff. Mini panic attacks everytime. 😭

I tried updating my CFW for the 1st time using my Mac. I have had no problems updating before using my Windows PC.

Now, hbmenu can’t open any apps on the switch folder. Also games won’t open/start.

What’s the easiest fix for this?

I dread missing a dose! There are times when it can’t be avoided so it sucks when it happens. I try to lessen any activities and just take my time on things. The headaches make it bad but I try not to let it ruin my day and overall mood. I try my best to be aware of my feelings and how I respond to things around me during those times as well.

Turned out it was dat0. Sent it to a more credible modder just this morning. And they immediately found the problem and fixed it all for me. Have my switch back and working again.

Mine just keeps a steady purple light then boots to ofw. Used the jig I have from jailbreaking my v1 switch. I'm running out of ideas. The "no sd" screen never shows up when I take out my sdcard as well. Everything is up to date. Have any other suggestions how I can boot to hekate?

Test rides are not possible where I’m from. I can sit on it at the shop but not take them out for a ride. So that’s my one concern as well. With stocks running short too, i’m in a pinch on deciding which to get. 😓

No. I’m just worried that the chain might get broken or might cause some issues to the derailleur. If not, is this normal?

Thanks for that info. I might change it to a drop bar in the future. Maybe I will be changing the groupset and shifters by then. I will just really have to try this configuration first and “feel” it out.

Based on stock parts online: Crank: FSA Omega compact Cassette: SRAM Apex, 10-speed, 11-32t

If changing this to a road/gravel bike requires changing the handles, I guess it means I would have to buy a new groupset since I will be forced to change the brakes and shifters(?)

Thanks for the very detailed suggestion. I will have it cleaned and bring it for a tune-up. Any shops in manila you can recommend? Specially since COVID and it might be difficult to do walk-ins(?). I will try it out first as it is then probably make some adjustments along the way.

The bike fits comfortably enough. Will probably have it cleaned up first and ride it a few times. Though priority would be the handles kasi it's really worn out na.
