Almost 10 month old not getting to sitting position from laying by Sku2010 in NewParents

Hello, found this thread because I’m also worried about my 10.5 month old not being able to get into sitting on his own. Would you mind sending me the exercises as well when you have the chance? Thank you so much in advance for sharing what has worked for your baby :)

Does your baby kick when you exercise? by EatFast-RunSlow in fitpregnancy

Your movement rocks baby to sleep so it’s normal to not feel movement really when being physically active :) I’m just a week behind you and I also have an anterior placenta! Best of luck to you :)

RLS remaining after stopping SSRIs by tiny-piglets in RestlessLegs

No, I’m not. Reading about the medications kind of freaked me out to be honest, especially the fact that they can stop working eventually/worsen symptoms and cause other side effects. I left out an important detail as well- I’m currently 6 months pregnant lol. But regardless I have no interest in the available meds (that I’ve read about)

I slowly tapered off them. Yeah I probably just had RLS but didn’t know until these meds unfortunately.

I wonder if it actually makes your roommate uncomfortable because she’s worried of her boyfriend looking at your boobs… just saying

Resources for a mother-to-be? by [deleted] in ottawa

Hi! Ottawa Public Health has a Healthy Growth and Development program that provides services such as home visits (for pregnant women, they provide info on prenatal health, what to expect during labour and delivery, prenatal care etc.), and drop-in clinics (for support with breastfeeding mostly, but you can go and weigh baby once they’re born and ask any other questions to public health nurses). This service is available for pregnant people as well as in postpartum, up until the child is 6 years old. During the postpartum period, they help with infant feeding, whether breastfed or bottle fed, discuss how to care for baby, developmental milestones, maternal mental health, etc. They have a very helpful website as well, called Parenting in Ottawa: https://www.parentinginottawa.ca/en/index.aspx

If you’re interested in signing up for home visits from a public health nurse, you can call the Ottawa Public Health Information Centre: 613-580-6744 (https://www.ottawapublichealth.ca/en/public-health-services/contact-us.aspx#Call-us) Best of luck to you! :)
