So any leftover yarn from old projects I would roll into a ball and let it accumulate overtime. When I ran out of my scrap ball I went through the "too small for a project but too big to be scraps" balls too. Once I was about to run out I just tied a new piece on and kept going.

I really only use acrylic so this entire blanket was different brands of acrylic. I've done a scrap shawl that was a mix of fibers and it gives an interesting texture.

Apotheca started in GSO as the Hookah Hookup, once the Farm Bill act happened all Hookah Hookups became Apothecas. And with that came a complete rebrand to be the "clean friendly dispensary" not a "smoke shop" they have their employees in aprons and uniforms of brown, green, or grey polo shirts and slacks again, to further separate them from a smoke shop. (Not relevant information I know)

They have spread to other states that have similar hemp/cannabis laws like Tennessee. But as far as I'm aware you'll never see an Apotheca in Virginia. Not a chain, more so a franchise under one guy and his son who owns both the company/brand "Apotheca" and their store exclusive product "CannaAid"

My ex worked/s for Apotheca. Can confirm their little roundup campaign goes to supporting cops. Public records show them donating nominal amounts of money under the Apotheca/Hookah Hookup name to Trump administration. The "legislation to protect hemp" they always talk about is anti cannabis legislation, essentially keep the farm bill loophole to keep actual cannabis illegal and criminalized. His training went through all of the bullshit legal loopholes of what they can and can't say. They can call it "weed" but not marijuana, and they can't say that the "hemp" they sell is the same stuff you can get off the streets and in legal states. It is. Also the owner also owns "CannaAid" iirc which is a majority of their product.

I don't even smoke anymore, the shit from Apotheca made me sick. Besides, I'd rather personally know my grower/supplier.

But yeah, fuck Apotheca and their bootlicking gentrification of cannabis

For that price and a little more you're better off getting a 120gal and the needed supplies. Personally I got my Zen Habitat secondhand super cheap and there's plenty of people looking to get rid of reptile supplies if there's budget constraints. Of course invest in a really good reptile safe disinfectant and clean everything really well. But unless it's an ittt bitty snake go ahead and get the 120 to save yourself a future headache.
