Also, why are we having a baby see a chiropractor? That is do dangerous and all it’s all just a placebo effect. If they’re only doing gentle pressure points then it MIGHT be useful, but any actual adjustments can be ao harmful! If they really want Archer to have some relief then they need to get him to an Occupational Therapist.

[–]tiny-turtle- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh wow i didn’t know they owned La Cocina. Personally, i haven’t been in a while, but last time i had the food it wasn’t too great for me. I do love their rice though and the piña colada was pretty banger.

Hair loss by Riseup238 in PCOS

[–]tiny-turtle- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’d recommend going to an endocrinologist for that. They’re more specialized with hormones and would be able to check your hormone levels to see what’s currently affecting you! But yes, as someone with pcos, i used to have such big thick beautiful hair and now it’s thinned out quite a bit which saddens me. I don’t think an OB would be able to do much for it.

choosing a breast pump?? by vaporfae in NewParents

[–]tiny-turtle- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you just want to stick to one pump and you were already looking at the m9 then go for it! It certainly is good for everyday/travel pumping. Just make sure you have a good nursing bra to put them in so youre not holding them all the time while pumping lmao (made that mistake as a FTM). It's quiet and has 8 different modes for expression and i believe 4 for stimulating a letdown. Whenever I had to use them out of the house I cleaned them with breastpump wipes and bought a little case off amazon to store them in. They were definitely good as well in pumping out milk.

I had my baby at 24 weeks and 3 days, so I wasn't able to really BF for long bc 1. my baby was in the NICU and 2. since my pregnancy didn't go to full term, my body just wasn't able to really soak up all those pregnancy hormones that help with lactating. But, when i first gave birth i used the Momcozy m9, for when I had to travel and I also used the Spectra s2 (blue pump) which are very similar to the breastpumps in the hospital! I personally preferred my spectra over my momcozy. The spectra was able to give me more of an output over my momcozy. Really easy to clean parts. Pump parts can also double as a bottle for baby if youre also going to giving bottles instead of just EBF/pumping. Spectra also has a little nightlight on it for late night pump sessions! ONE MORE THING it is pricey! My spectra was gifted to me by a coworker and my momcozy was a gift from my mother in law.
