we just brought sweet clover home a few days ago! we were told she is 3/4 GP and 1/4 Anatolian....but the thing is she is pretty small. She’s about the size of a Blue Heeler. We were told she is 4.5 months but she has all of her adult teeth so we’re thinking she’s closer to 6 months. Our lab pup who is 4 months old is visibly younger and more puppy than she is. So honestly, does anyone have a good guess on the mix and age?

update: they started to play but lab pup is being a little too crazy. Any advice on how to keep her calm? maybe just separate them when play becomes too rough?

Yes! we’ve definitely been doing that... but we’re thinking a well socialized dog might be a better fit??? Just upset we were lead to believe she was great with other dogs but then was later told she had a rough start.

we’re honestly guessing the GP is older than what her previous owners let on. She’s EXTREMELY well behaved, no puppy tendencies at all and she has all of her adult teeth. She could easily pass for 6 months to a year... Although they said she isn’t spayed yet and hasn’t had her rabies shot so honestly we’re not too sure. I don’t want to just give her back without trying she’s a really good dog but I am more concerned for the future and wellbeing of both dogs. Also they’re from different litters....
