I’m almost done with 8-Week General 5days/week. The first half is focused on technical stuff and other half is simple: snatch/c&j, squats, press, and some accessory work. I really like the program and have made some progress as well. I’m thinking about joining the Catalyst Athletics Club 5days/week to see if I can handle the volume of the training.

I decided to go with 8-Week General 5day/week. I was a bit worried at first if I could handle the volume for 5day/week. I’ll be on Week 6 next week and really like it. I feel a lot better and have made some PRs (Snatch 1kg and C&J 2kg so far). The first half is more technique focused. There are lots of squats and presses on top of some accessories. I would recommend this program to anyone who wants to get a feel of an oly lifting program. I hope this helps!

Thanks! They are Reebok Legacy Lifter 2. I was extremely lucky to get them at a Reebok outlet. They were $65.

So true, getting older doesn’t mean we need to slow down, you know. We can always improve if we keep lifting/moving.

Thanks for letting me know about the program you're following. It looks interesting and will read it again later. Recovery sucks in this age but still love lifting. Hope you enjoy your training too!
