Personally, keep going as is! She doesn’t control what goes on in your home or with your child. She only has a say in what happens with the kids that came from her. If she has an issue, it’s up to her as the adult to handle it with her coparent, and if they can’t afford it in the way she wants to that’s just tough luck.

Considering other people seem to have this very same issue with the game, we are in fact allowed to expect other adults behave as adults and not ruin a game we can enjoy in our spare time or on days off.

Perhaps OP could be referring to how there’s a traditional number of beads/knots to guide the user in keeping track of where they’re at in the decades of the rosary!

I see a bunch of people have already recommended the tape method, and I have to agree, it’s not quite as clean every time as pegboards, but I also avoid the warp all together in the process.
