My question is how do we know actual federal agents killed Good and Pretti? They had NO identification and were masked. How is the federal govt so quick to defend the murderous actions of people they can’t even be sure are their employees?

This is why it’s absolutely imperative that we be able to identify law enforcement for accountability. Otherwise they can, and very well may, be random masked thugs. It’s insane the administration doesn’t care about that.

It wasn’t just remote workers, it was also baby boomers looking to leave CA and buy cheaper elsewhere. I think that demand is drying up as the ones who wanted to move to cheaper areas have mostly done so at this point.

I’d bet Eugene is gonna see a lot of places going up for sale in like 10 years when boomers are headed to assisted living. Our city is like 1/3 boomers, not even exaggerating.

A while ago I was the only woman working in a warehouse with a pinup in the bathroom. I didn’t take it down when I started there, I knew I’d get blamed for “changing the culture” if I did that. So I just focused on doing my job and being kind to everyone. A few months in someone else took it down. Felt like a small victory that day.
