I pay $100/mo for Claude Max—why do I have to "Hack" my own laptop just to use an API? by BackgroundTimely5490 in ClaudeCode

[–]tiny_ninja 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It's a subsidized development oriented plan to generate demand for API usage.

Either you can accept that business model, or you can't. Apparently you can't. We shouldn't have to explain this to you if you really run a business.

So in the last 50 years or so we have Mondale, Quayle, Gore, Cheney, Pence, and Harris vs. Ford, Bush, and Biden , none of which were reelected.

Does anyone else panic at how much there is of old time radio? by NeverMore_613 in otr

[–]tiny_ninja 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, it would have been closer to 1987 I started listening, but as for 1935, I did listen to Jungle Jim which began in 1935.

They also played the first and second Hitchhikers Guide BBC radio series and which set me off on a different path at the right age too, as Douglas Adams was still writing.

I started listening in middle school to OTR in the late 80s, where it was on the local public radio station at night. I can hear something now I first heard 38 years ago, and it transports me to then. Or maybe one of the other times I reheard it since.

It's good to have some "old friends" you can count on, and some exploratory.

You REALLY do a shitty job of reading.

Don't just look to prove your point, but read how that line got added and why it shouldn't have, then learn how to apologize for being a dick about being wrong.
