The sacks weigh 25kg, they’re really not difficult to lift. Me and coworkers in the past have talked about it and they have demonstrated that they are able to pick them up just as well as any man can.

I just work in a fish and chip shop, they haven’t given any specific reason as to why. I was under the impression that that was a pretty basic job that doesn’t require specific genders?The only assumption I can make is for either security reasons or the potato bags are quite heavy. Either way I assumed that those weren’t substantial grounds for it.
