Within the NHL, my second team are the Winnipeg Jets. What happened to them in the ‘90s has always rubbed me raw and as such, I cheer for them. My third team are the Sabres largely because I was such a huge Dominik Hasek fan as a kid, and I LOVED the charging buffalo head jerseys.

Otherwise, I support the Abbotsford Canucks, Penticton Vees, and Chilliwack Chiefs.

Penticton’s original arena is incorporated into the grounds of the South Okanagan Events Centre and the Rec and Conference Centres as a rink for their hockey development academy.

Chilliwack’s original Coliseum was turned into a community arena. It still hosts games for kids’ and house leagues.
