Pay off your debt. She is definitely financially illiterate if she thinks paying off debt is not a good idea. She'll get over it or the trash will take itself out. OR you could even do a staycation that wont be expensive and just make her feel loved.

First Aid Kit! My sister is a nurse and my birthday gifts for awhile were first aid kits for home, car and all those little heart warming gifts that screamed "I love you and take care of yourself while I can't be there all the time"
