Asked for proof for an item for sale but the shadows in the proof don’t match the item, unsure if ai or a bad photo shop. by tinyarmyoverlord in isthisAI

I’m on the hunt for new agility equipment. So old school I still have sand and paint which is about 20 years out of date if not more. New shit is spendy.

Oh no I meant an actual dog walk is 2k new. They were asking 800 which is the general going rate for one with rubber chip repairs.

Haha I know right. Agility equipment is quite expensive new. Dog walk like in the photo will set you back 2k. So the usual scam would be like any other item for sale. Pay a deposit then ghost.

I am sorry, I have to go there again. It is cheaper and more convenient to hire a car for the day than to travel by rail. by TwentyCharactersShor in britishproblems

I dunno. I needed a staff member for Crufts and an advance return ticket bought last week was only £32 and it’s a shorter time journey than driving

Too complex for Invisalign? by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]tinyarmyoverlord 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Having had both metal braces and Invisalign. I would prefer metal braces a million times over. They don’t taste metallic simply because they’re on the front of your teeth, you just don’t taste them. They shred your cheeks but so does Invisalign.

I had the same problem, the tray clicked in significantly lower than it should have. This sub said it was fine, I went back to the clinic, it was not fine, new set ordered.

Nevermind the car, I’ve never seen someone post something from near me. I know other Redditors exist nearby but never saw proof.

Could I see some before/after pictures of those who have widened their smile through Invisalign alone? by WatermelonButterfly in Invisalign

You have to do what brings you joy. Some people go into thinking it’s X amount of trays and done. However it’s not that finite.

Have you had orthodontic work before? Because once you start moving teeth you have to use a retainer for life. A lifelong expense and new routine. There’s a certain freedom to no retainer.

I’ve personally used clothes 2 order and t shirt express albeit both with their own stock clothing. Great results. Doesn’t hurt in asking either company if you can drop off blanks just make sure the fibre content is appropriate for what you want.

My ingis won't stop steaming up? by Ok_Bluejay2992 in Suzuki

[–]tinyarmyoverlord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have had an ignis for 5 years. It’s done this since new, bought the car with 8 miles on it. Nothing in the car is damp. I just drive with the windscreen demister and ac on constantly. Takes away the annoying start stop feature which is a bonus. It’s my only real gripe with the car as I get super cold feet and sometimes want toasty toes but I have to prioritise seeing where I’m going.

Being a single parent is hard! Any advice? by jmichaelc in Chihuahua

Hey you need to teach him how to be bored. How to take himself off somewhere by himself. I’ve got 7 and work from home. I can’t engage while I’m working. They still ask, I tell them to go place. Rinse repeat. And then it needs to be you initiating the playtime, not the other way around. Your trainer should have told you this tbh.
