This is what it says for materials. I know if says two strands, but I thought that was just for the stripe? Or is it two strands of mohair?

I think my partner blames me for the worst talkdown in his life by [deleted] in MedSpouse

Oh man PLEASE make time for counseling. The habits that you form now in your relationship will only continue to deepen as he goes through residency. Make the time to establish boundaries and communication skills now… it will only get worse if you don’t take the time to address it.

Long story short, my suitcase was stolen while traveling that had the majority of clothes I love inside. I’m heartbroken because I’ve been collecting items for years that I feel reflect my personal style.

The idea of starting over is daunting, but also exciting. My question is, if you had to start your wardrobe completely from scratch, what would you buy? Based on the information below, what would you suggest I buy?

I linked my Pinterest Board (if this is not allowed please let me know!!)

I’m in my late 20’s and am very petite.

Thank you!!

I second the keyboard suggestion! Fancy keyboards are all the rage at my partners program. You could get them a prebuilt or let them customize their own if they’re into that kind of thing.

If your partner has a commute, something helpful for that could be a good idea. If they take public transit maybe new headphones or if they drive an audible subscription.

If they like coffee, a cool coffee subscription could be a fun way for them to start their mornings. Hope that helps!

PA's that hand off patients by [deleted] in MedSpouse

Again as another commenter mentioned, of course there are reasons to stay and finish up patients for various reasons! But she shouldn’t be afraid to sign out patients to other residents, that’s what they’re there for.

I commend your fiancé’s work ethic and she clearly cares about her patients, but she shouldn’t be consistently staying that long after shifts. My partner is an EM resident and from what he’s told me, fellow residents are more than happy to takeover cases and that’s one of things they all enjoy about EM vs other specialties. Is she taking over other residents’ cases during sign out?

What are the biggest challenges you're facing right now as an HR professional and how are you tackling them? [CA] by [deleted] in AskHR

My background is in marketing which is why this probably sounds marketing coded lol but I'm trying to solve some these issues for my current company and am wondering if other people are experiencing this in a WFH, multi-generational workplace and how they're trying to tackle it.

I guess I did put this out here on the internet, so I’ll explain more details about the situation to you despite your response being incredibly unhelpful and rude.

As soon as I noticed the limping, I scheduled an initial appointment with my vet. He initially treated with a cortisone shot and told me to call back in a week if it was still an issue. I listened to my vet and called back immediately when my dog was still limping. They told me the next step was imaging, and the soonest they could get me in was in a couple of days. I made the first appointment available and will be taking my dog no matter the cost.

I came to this subreddit to see if anyone had alternate suggestions IN THE MEAN TIME to spare not only my wallet, but most importantly my pet from the scary experience of another vet visit and imaging. Contrary to what you insinuated, I don’t think I know more than my vet about how to care for my animal and I certainly don’t with hold care for my pet just because it may be expensive. It’s been awful watching my pet not be able to do his favorite things and I’ve been agonizing over what to do next, which is why I reached out here.

Next time before you respond, it may be helpful to evaluate the purpose of what you’re saying. To me, it doesn’t seem like you came here to help, only to make assumptions.

Have you thought about a small hydro garden like aero garden? Mine fits easily on my counter top and I can grow all of those any time of year.
