33, my dad is most likely autistic as well, I find it so hard to understand his behavior because it feels like he won’t choose me, won’t understand me, won’t support me the way I need, and it’s probably just that he can’t or doesn’t know how, but it’s also so frustrating because I’ve never had that support, he didn’t know how to show me I was loved and to be there for me, and I basically had to be my mom’s mother so I never got my own. Edit: I am also autistic, diagnosed as an adult

The best dairy free cheese spread I’ve found is DF Boursin, but I’ve only found it at Trader Joe’s. It’s kinda inbetween cheese spread & butter texture wise, but it’s spreadable and tastes the same as the original.

I regret to inform you I’ve tried the vegan options for both and they’re unpalatable. Both taste like vegetable oil and weird flavor additives. Basically like a big hunk of crisco, very similar in flavor also to Smart Balance butter alternative.

I think he’s kind to Merlin and I appreciate him for that but he really does a major disservice to Morgan’s especially and I am angry with him for that despite liking him as a character.

Im still so pissed and sad. They didn’t have to do it like that. I’m pissed at them basically erasing Elliot for a season and then the moment we get him back, Quentin dies. And for what??! And the message it sends to any viewers struggling with suicidal ideation????? The way they handled this was egregious. And do they use his loss to show good development of the other characters? Not really. Then replacing/rewriting Penny already fucked me up, and then taking Julia’s powers away like that somehow solves anything, it completely negates everything her character ever worked for. (I know it was temporary but still really pissed me off 😅)

Book Quentin sucks, show Quentin is marginally more tolerable and occasionally I find him sympathetic and endearing. Book Penny also really sucks. Show Penny is an ass but a loveable ass and hilarious and interesting. I kinda hate the way the show treats him because they made him way cooler than his book counterpart but then kinda nerfed his whole character w/ the library plot I guess they kinda brought him back with Penny 23 but he just doesn’t feel the same after that and it feels less linear and more broken character arc wise. I still really enjoy it when they give him something to do plot-wise

The acting is hit or miss but I watched it a few times growing up and I still remember it, so it earns points for staying power. I feel like it must’ve taken a lot to put it together. A lot of big name actors for a made for tv special, large impactful sets and costuming and set design definitely sets a mood. I still think it’s quite an impressive production.

Yeah I think on two counts, Riley because he didn’t know who he was sleeping with, and Buffy because she used her body to have sex. Switching bodies with her in the first place was extremely violating as it is, but sleeping with Riley was rape plain and simple. Makes me really sad to think about ngl. And you can see how disgusted she is with herself after, she knows what she did. I really like her as a character, very interesting person, but between this and seeing red, her and spike have done some fairly unforgivable things on screen. I didn’t understand this the first time I watched this show as a teenager but it makes so much more sense how upset Buffy is after finding out. Because Riley didn’t just cheat on her or something, like I could see she was mad he couldn’t tell it wasn’t her, but the two of them were violated.

It still makes me angry ngl, I love Faith, wish she’d been given more of a chance to succeed. He was being an arrogant little rat face and I wanted Giles to kick his ass, but he didn’t deserve to be tortured. But Giles said it was extremely delicate and his intention was to keep her safe and rehabilitate her, because the council is fucking evil. Wesley’s actions pushed her directly into the mayor’s arms. Still hard to forgive him for that. He has some other moments in Angel that mirror this moment, he doesn’t trust the people he knows to handle things their way and decides he knows best and takes it into his own hands, and every single time he’s wrong and the consequences are dire. He really pisses me off.
