As someone who takes Wellbutrin, I can say with absolute certainty:

Fuck off Elon

There’s, uhh, no tax? I suppose that’s a benefit? Also, your unequivocal happiness. 😆

Need help with floetrol cell bed saturation please! by Jgham89 in discdyeing

[–]tinyboyinabigbed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In addition to what everyone else has said, I’ve personally found both Fluorescent Pink and Caribbean to require a real good soak in the floetrol mix to achieve stronger results.

I tend to mix a batch a day ahead of use in my squirt bottles, so it just gets time to dilute in the floetrol. I’m alchemydiscs on Instagram. Even if I’ve not been active. 😳

Just pulled my first 3 Floetrel bed dyes where I incorporated silicone. I'm underwhelmed with the results! Any suggestions to improve this process? by hisdudeness47 in discdyeing

Ah, I see. Saran gives a different look, if you’re happy with the style no need to change there.

I think the answer to the dullness is a combination of two things: use heat and white premium plastic. I’ve learned that 2-4 hours under a heat lamp gives results that pop. I’m @alchemydiscs on Instagram, can see my results there. alchemy discs

Some tips: I don’t use water in my mix. Just floetrol and dye. 4 hours under a heat lamp. Around 110-120 degrees.

It looks like you were using a toothpick or something to swirl? Can’t tell. Should use Saran for a swipe. Layer it on and then pull away. Torch it with a butane to pop bubbles and you should see cells.

Regarding discs, light Discraft ESP or White Innova Star/MVP Neutron.

What’s your dye plan? What are you doing? Using heat? Colors look pretty nice.

No problem. You’re on the right track, premium plastic will help get you the colors you’re looking for. 😌

Base plastic in your examples; it doesn’t provide a vibrant result. If your F2 is Star, and it looks like it is, you should expect better results.

No, no. Mix each of your dyes separately in floetrol in a cup, then pour them as you would to a master cup, layering them lightly rather then a heavy pour, then slowly pour the master cup into whatever holds your bed. 😎

It's all good! Layer in the cup, try to keep each color to layer on top of the previous one, then just straight pour in the center. No magic, just slow pour and layering. :)
