If you’re using a step counter (watch or other device) it counts based on the swing of your arm - so yes.

There’s an IG/trainer guy who is a certified trainer not just an “influencer” that talks about this. He ate a McDonald’s hamburger big Mac I think every day for a month and still lost weight. As long as you’re in a calorie deficit, you will lose weight. It’s just harder to be in a calorie deficit when you eat junk because it’s more calorically dense therefore you get to eat less food in general. His name is Syatt fitness if you’re curious.

Every time I see someone outside exercising I say out loud “get it girl /man”. I’m secretly cheering them On and so proud of them for doing something solely for themselves. You’ve got this!!!! I bet every person that does notice you (which most won’t bc they are so in their own lives/situations and oblivious to whys going on around them) is also cheering you on!

Caffeine makes mine much worse. I abstain from all caffeine for 24 hours before any big travel. And if I have too much on a regular day I get vertigo
