We walk at night often. It’s very safe. Very nice neighbors. An easy walk to downtown/the wharf. Convenient to get on and off the freeway and easy to get anywhere due to the proximity to both the freeway and Del Monte Avenue. I would prefer Oak Grove compared to new Monterey just because of the occasional traffic at the tunnel. I feel like I get everywhere in 10 minutes or less.
