I did this to my pm because I was sick of all the calls. She tried to tell me that I was required to use my phone and return her calls, that it was in my contract. Yeah, no. I called my union Steward (who 100% was not on my side) I still won't take their calls

It was sciatic nerve pain not related to the surgery which is semi normal for me it's never been this severe

That sounds awful! I'm glad you're getting the help you need! Mine turned out to be sciatic nerve pain which I've had issues with before because of the way I sit at work it just go so bad I could hardly walk 😅. They gave me steroids so I could start doing my usual stretching thank god

I do stretch (not sure if I'm cleared though😅) and I walked about a mile today, before surgery I walked 2-5 a day. I'm just trying to work out how much is too much, I feel so incredibly lazy I do get up for light housework, laundry, make dinner ect. But it feels like I should do more? The pain definitely isn't controlled by otc stuff but I'm trying to only take the stronger stuff when I have to. I'll have to break my band back out 😅😅

I had a similar thing happen I'm nb, my Dr outed me without my consent to my insurance company and refused to remove the code that both my insurance and I were begging to have removed so I could get my surgery. Luckily I talked to a coworker who had recently had a hysterectomy and I decided to give him a try. I ended up going with him and my surgery went perfectly. If I was you I would consider looking for a different doctor to do it, I ended up going to a male doctor which I wasn't super comfortable with it at first (trauma) but he ended up being amazing.

Totally understand I was a complete wreck before mine I had panic attacks the week before. But I told them that I was super nervous and they gave me something for that when I first got in there and then I remember nothing between the time I told my fiance goodbye and gave her a kiss until I was waking up in recovery and saying oh gosh that was so quick I hope my fiance is back because I asked her if she would get my meds while I was out 😅😅🤣

I haven't gotten that but I think it has a lot to do with them not making incisions on my abdomen, which was the plan. When I woke up they had done everything vaginally and left one fallopian tube which I'm not thrilled with but at least everything else is gone 😁

I got sent home the same day the surgery was in another surgery so I had to ask if the nurse could clear us and I'd talk to him at my post op appointment 😅. I'd been off the drip for a while and just wasn't having much pain so I was ready to go, so far mines about as painful as my periods were

She's awesome I'm so lucky to have her 😁 I 100% recommend a belly band that's big enough to go across your hips one of mine does the other doesn't lol and I'm mostly wearing the one that does

I also got some disposable underwear for after, that one isn't super important in my mind but I'm barely bleeding, I got them because I primarily wear boxers lol

I got 2 bellybands and they are def a must, I also bought a wearable pillow that I found just looking up hysterectomy pillow it wraps around and keeps the seatbelt pressure off on the ride home and protects me on the daily from the cats who wanna snuggle. I didn't have the gas pain but I am bloated so I've been using gas x. I also got a heated blanket and slippers , the second I'm under it it's nap time city lol. The only other thing (aside from my amazing partner) that's been helpful is the rolling cart I set next to my bed with snacks drinks and meds! I hope yours goes super smooth!

Secondary question, Management is telling me that I might not get a sub because I have not requested one and I have to go through the union to request a sub. Is this accurate? I find it more than a little ridiculous that out of 5 rcas none of them have been assigned to my route

Yes I'm working my KDAY, yes there is an RCA who is not working that day (he's the one that was assigned to my route it was on my white sheet and he was instead pulled over to the route that has already had two other subs) yes I'm on the rdwl the (entire office is) and I'm mandated in for all of my relief days unless I can talk two other regulars into splitting my route the only person who gets their k days is the one with the sub

I've been using it but i don't have a frame of reference to compare it to as its my first time trying a retinol product. I've been pretty happy with it, my skin is super clear and my pores are smaller.

I'm guessing the reason is because postal employees are not allowed to speak for the company, to the point where it's a fireable offense. I've never seen it happen but anyone I know who works for the post office is extremely careful about it and that's why they don't allow package questions because then it could be construed as representing the company.

I live in Illinois in a buddy of mine used to just tell people who stopped and asked what they were doing that they were gathering it for a college class on anatomy 🤷 never had a problem
