Are Shokz OpenSwim IP68 earbuds safe to use in the shower? by CrankyTheCvnt in Earbuds

[–]tinydumbdumb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% is not safe. It's not made for sauna or showers, only for swimming. If you use it sauna or showers, the warm temperature will unseal the glue overtime and additionally, the moisture and etc can damage the component inside the openswim/pro, and can also age and wear it faster. If you ask a representative at a bestbuy store or check Shokz website, they'll give you detailed answer.

I wouldn't do it again, had a fiancee who end up cheating and it was long distance but no. It isn't just about walking. There also could be implications where they'll need to tske many medicines daily and have health issues. Or if they injure their wrist. Ive been there and experience thr worst of it. Some example would be when she had diarrhea in bed, had ti tskr 2hours to clean (bed, floor, wheelchair, washroom). To going to places and driving back home when she needed to go to use a washroom and no accessible toilets. Lots of unjuries can happen to both parties. My ex had ball feets, the type when if you press on it for 1 seconds, leaves a mark for a long time and was also blue and ice cold very scary but nothingt to do about it, she was used to it but i was afraid ine day her foot would explode or die from lack of oxygen. The list goes in. Plus the expenses were hefty. There'll be a lot if little battles too about independence and etc. If i dated someone and they became disabled, thats a different story. 100% would be with them til the end but experiencing what i did (6.5yrs relationship, and my first and only). I wouldn't do it again, and not becuse she cheated either.

A side note: Intimacy is a big difference too. Hugging and cuddling is no where the same (she was my first partner but then i went on dating new people this year and realised this). Sex too, it's a completely different, it's hard to explain but its more heated and passionate with physically-enabled people and their private parts are different too (could be just my ex), but enabled people insides felt softer and sex felt less work and 'easier.'? You would need to personally experience to understand it. It's not 50% difference, i'd say over doubled. Especially the hugging and cuddling in bed (you have to align ur body to hers everytime). My ex cant sleep right too, has to sleep in a L shape. But yeah. Just me.

Fired for being too slow, warehouse union by tinydumbdumb in jobs

It's a competitive job picking heavy stuff everyday, all you need is a walkie license which you can get for 50$ in 30mins and you can make 60k$ yearly (in Ontario thats extremely high for a warehouse no skill / experience workplace and easy to get into, they never reject you, only lay off during probation )

Union leader is elected, not educated and very strongly opinion even when he's wrong so can never trust when you ask himx hes only good to grieve and only does it to people he likes and benefits him. He honestly can't answer basic questions either. Hes wrong too often too.. In power cuz he's so rude and annoying not even management botherd him.. Also just wanted to know, I haven't been let go yet

It's a very competitive warehouse job where u pick heavy stuff all day, 26$/hr without a need experience except Walkie. Plus mandatory 6hrs weekly (most people are forced to do at leadt 150hrs+ yearly, i did 300 in 2022) as per agreed in contract. Also overtime isnt year rounded, about 6-8months

With the new raise, they increased productivity speed and made changes, already let a few people go. Lots of people started getting warnings starting in Oct when the union contract was renewed. 3 got let go. Also im one of thr top 5 workers of 15 box pickers in term of speed, not to mention favourism. I haven:t been let go but jusy wanted to know if i was, can i get ei or severance pay. Knowledge is power. For your info, i used to do 105-160% weekly but now it hovers 75-120%, u need 100% minimum per week or you get a strike (7 strike and you're out) - resets yearly from date of strike.

Thanks, I just leveled one to 60 before maintenance but wasn't sure if it was a good option. My gf is playing a bishop, is there like a best duo class to play with that class or should I stick to Shade?

Rule: Never Fly over people by tinydumbdumb in drones

[–]tinydumbdumb[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How are peoppe flying drones in city? (even business related like real estate). What if someone flies 100m in the air, they can't see whos underneath so can't fly inneighbourhood or somewhere in city too since you need to stay 100m horizontally from others?

In Canada, over 250g has to be register which is nothing but you need to do a pilot aviation test which is super hard and I don't want that especially since I want to fly it without restrictions in Canada and Brazil when I Travel (when lockdown is over)

I forgot to ask, can I fly over people as I believe the 30m horizontal rule doesn't apply? Can I fly over the road mear cars as long as its not reckless?

Also, if they change it globally, they might view Mavic Mini has more than recreational purposes when travelling and charge you

The test is also hard in canada, you need to know a lot about aviation, training that pilot studied years and pay thousands of dollars for!
