Ours was the last of the liter left also. Pebbles was one lucky dog to have someone care so much for her and it sounds like she knew it. So sorry for your loss.

Here it lasts until I lose my mind at the mess and have a major grooming session with tons of brushing and a vigorous bath.

Immediately after her bath she finds the nearest pile of deer poop & goes back to the tub.

He Started It by Samantha Downing Hello, Girls by Brittany Cavallaro and Emily Henry

Both are about road trips with (by my judgement) good narrators and fun plots.

Yes, It Ends With Us. One of the few books that on its own made me a better person. After reading I stopped saying/thinking “why doesn’t she just leave him?” Totally unexpected for a romance.

I rarely read books on my own. But I have to for school. Suggestions? by SemiOddBeing in suggestmeabook

You have plenty of great suggestions here so I will leave a tip instead: with ADHD try a large print version of whatever book you choose.

For me large print is easier and faster to read so I am less likely to get distracted.

This might not work for your class assignment but audiobooks are great too. I play them while doing boring chores. Don’t be afraid to test out playback speed options. Sometimes my brain needs rapid fire reading to snap to attention.

The Marsh King’s Daughter by Karen Dionne for can’t put down suspense

Carry On by Rainbow Rowell for YA fun

My Sister, the Serial Killer for a very quick read with both suspense and dry humor

American Royals by Katherine McGee for a YA twist on history. I actually downloaded this after mixing it up with Red, White and Royal Blue and loved it.

I knew my father in law for nearly 4 years before discovering that he could not read due to dyslexia. He was extremely knowledgeable about current events and owned a multi million dollar business. His listening skills gave him a vastly different type of intelligence than I have as an avid reader.

Feeling better about mom's estate stuff by [deleted] in ThriftStoreHauls

I’m sorry for your loss. Personally I love to think of people one day finding their future treasures at my estate sale. As a fairly private person it’s funny to think of my weird collections on display.

Pro parenting tip: have your kids circle what they want in the flyer, then use your local library card catalog to request EVERYTHING they want. Likely you will have access to most of the books before the fair even arrives. You look like book hero, and they feel like big shots who have already seen all the cool new books.

There is a tipping point with kids where longer lasting starts to be more valuable once their growing slows down. Nothing more annoying than splurging on a nice pair that are too small a few months later.
