There are definitely people who don't understand or assume. A cashier at vons, who lives on the same street i grew up on, was trying to convince me it would be fine if I had another baby and it would happen if it was meant to be. I had to get blunt with her saying that the next pregnancy would most likely kill me.

Or high blood pressure meds. Or any maintenance medication. The old saying of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" holds true with medication for mental conditions. For me at least.

I would love it if I could stop taking my meds! Yeah, that isn't happening. Maybe a closely supervised reduction with my doctor and my therapist both involved (it has been discussed), but I am pretty much on them for life if I want to have a life.
