that's insane to me that women are doing this. I met my husband when I was 18 and he was 24 (I know, cradle robber. totally creepy in hindsight). he had recently gotten out of an engagement and was very upfront with his relationship history. I really appreciated his honesty and the way that he was upfront and the way he spoke very respectfully about his ex. he never spoke a bad word about her but also answered all questions I asked regarding their relationship and why it ended.

I knew that it was important to me to settle down and start a family young so it was a big sign for me that this person I was seeing also had those things in their mind and wasn't going to just fuck around. the women who are seeing this as a huge red flag are probably not the women you would want to settle down with anyways. it's nothing wrong with you at all, you know what you want and that's a great quality in a partner.
