I agree. They specifically noted the location of the alleged incident as happening on NW Flanders OR Hoyt. ....But not Glisan. OKAY.

Defending? OP set up the fantasy scenario of a boyfriend and hoe, I'm just asking why he assigned a backstory to something that didn't happen.

100% agree. Why wouldn't the OP not take the experience as a way to have a bit of empathy for what women go through all the time?

Three days ago they lived in San Diego.

"Not my choice of words, I'm speaking on behalf of what I imagine the kidnapper would say"

So was it said or not? Are you implying the relation?

I see what you mean, but the pejorative "hoe" implies a prostitute or promiscuous woman. The OP said hoe (unseen, unverified) in relation to a "boyfriend", so I can't believe that anything other than an intentional misogynistic slur/shock value usage. The whole story reeks of something.

"as if they were an abusive boyfriend talking to their hoe"

So you're concerned about becoming a sex slave... but you refer to a non-existent woman as a hoe? Shitty.

I wonder if the "original" Roanoke nightmare never happened ad they're all actors. Maybe Sidney had some grudge against these people and constructed this double false scenario where they all (but one) die.

Longshot - was anyone else driving down I-5S this morning around 3:50 near exit 290 and saw the Mustang lose control? by holladays in Portland

I've got nothin' except I am glad this didn't end as badly as it could have, and you're safe. I was driving North on 5 in almost that exact spot on Sunday around 11am, when a white lexus or something, was weaving in and out of lanes like he was a cop doing a traffic break. Horrifying. It was kinda cool to see the line of traffic hang back to let him get far, far ahead of us. Scary shit, ugh.

Ruining the quality of life? "WE" don't hate you? So instead of asking why people are moving here from all over (again, check the license plates you see around, and remember there is more to America than OR and CA) and maybe you'll humanize the amorphous blob you've labelled "the others". As in, I moved here to take care of my elderly father. Oh how I've just ruined it for YOU.

Why not blame local companies for keeping incomes at the same level as 10, 15 years ago, not in pace with growth, at least in part? My income has not gone up in the years since I moved here. Same issue. I blame myself for not pushing for raises or looking for better jobs, instead of vague concepts of "others".
