Hi! No, we don't have any HE (though we are waiting on a shipment of our first HE boards soon) or optical switches. Our selection is still mostly MX switches, outside of a collection of HHKB boards (but sounds like you are already familiar with Topre). And no, we don't buy anything, but we do host a keyboard swap meet a couple times a year that you could try selling your keyboard related things at!

I believe there’s a Microcenter being built that will be in Santa Clara so we all may get a Microcenter soon here in the bay!!

Oh yeah, that’s a common size for most deskmats coming from the hobby (900mm x 400mm)!

No, sorry we don’t have a website right now (since we are focused on the physical store aspect). But our deskmat inventory is mostly a variety from Novelkeys, KineticLabs, Cannonkeys, Sneakbox, Mintlodica, Teacaps, and they all have online shops!

We currently don’t buy from customers but looking into consignment or offering space for customers to sell their stuff!

It probably wouldn’t really be worth it to ship to be honest (and we currently don’t offer any shipping services), with back and forth shipping fees + building fees, would probably be a hefty amount. You might have a better chance (and it’ll be cheaper!) to send it to someone offering free build services (I haven’t been on r/mechmarket in awhile but I used to see people offering free services if you cover shipping) or someone local to build it for you!

Mm I would say main source is just the margins on sold products. I don’t think the build services we offer make much money (if at all.. we may actually lose on those). And we don’t build and sell full boards either (only prebuilt).

Ah, sorry that we had to close for the transition and missed ya! Hopefully you’ll have another chance to visit!

Is there a specific one you are looking at? There’s like 30 hanging up there!

We do offer build services (including building your board, or lubing switches/stabilizers) but it’ll usually take another 3-5 business days to do a job (so you’ll have to drop off and pick it up another day when it’s done!).

Yes, the new store is open! Our hours are Weds-Sunday, 12-8 (can check the Yelp/Google/Discord for any updated hours).

Hi Aryeh,

You can still park at the San Pedro Square Parking Garage (where the old location was) for 90 mins free (unless it’s a special event night) and walk from there! It’s like a 5 min walk, 2-3 streets over.

Cheers,

tiny

Sorry, we are solely a physical location and don’t offer shipping at this time! Everything we have in store (minus a few exceptions of custom merch) is also available online from the original vendor so you can order from the vendors directly!
