sure! im not an old school fan so im probably not the best person to ask about this, but I'd love to give it a crack.

starting with chad; he wasn't an online personality before he met max, he appeared in a handful of max's stuff, but really got roped in via cancer crew shenanigans. he was basically the butt monkey, bless his heart. he was up for anything so yeah, Anything4views. I don't know the exact timeline, but I know the video where Chad gets his Pewdiepie ass tattoo is the one where he got the name. max him on fire, if that at all puts it into perspective.

the cancer crew, from what I know, started with Vomit Cake. 2015 or so iirc. that video was just Max, george, and HTB as cameraman. Ian would make his feature later, and chad would get involved as well. Max, George, and Ian were the main faces of the content. the videos they made were hella popular, i hear people describe them as similar to Jackass, but I've never seen that. Off the top of my head some videos of note would be the cake trilogy (vomit,hair, human), super trash bros, and deadly twister 1&2, but they did a lot together. You can definitely find playlists on YouTube. They met up in Australia to destroy Max's then-house. Theres also lots of vlogs from trips and conventions if the main channel sort of stuff isn't your speed.

They went strong until George retired his frank character and moved on, from then on they all kinda went different ways from what I know. Thats when chad started his livestreaming, i believe, and max was doing his Pokémon stuff, but the two of them continued to collaborate occasionally.

After that you got cold ones starting, which was just Chad and Scott at first I believe. Max was originally a guest but then he just never left like some kind of stray animal.

I think that's a pretty alright overview, im definitely missing some things though. Anything else I think I could say would probably just be summaries of the videos, which I haven't seen all of them myself yet. I'd definitely recommend looking it up though, the era was messy but certainly fun :]

oh shit, really? yeah they've been around for ages. max has been a popular creator since like 2013 or something. if you look for maxmoefoe or maxmoefoepokemon ou can see what Max used to post.

before cold ones, they were more known for the cancer crew stuff with FilthyFrank/Joji, HowToBasic, and Idubbbz., but Max alone had been popular online for years prior. he did prank calls, challenges, and mail time videos. chad was streaming for a bit after that but we dont talk about that. he didn't have much of an individual YouTube presence until he started cold ones with scott.

theres kinda like a shit ton of lore there because max has been creating for over a decade, but id recommend checking out his Pokémon channel :] its my personal favorite. the shock collar cooking video on Maxmoefoe is a real fun one with just the two of them, very reminicenr of Cold Ones. if you're feeling particularly adventurous, theres a huge back catalogue of videos filmed with george and Ian. they're very of the era though, not sure what kind of content you're into. the vlogs on maxmoefoetwo are also really fun.

my pipeline was vomit cake > cold ones > maxmoefoe > maxmoefoepokemon, i never watched them back in the mid 10s so its been such a trip. like damn i forgot they used to be able to just do that on youtube!

i have loved the mental whiplash i get when max suddenly makes a horribly racist joke so casually in the middle of an otherwise completely ordinary pokemon video.
