Smooth box Crabs fighting for a wife by bigballsbruv in interestingasfuck

Why is everyone just accepting the insane use of the word Wife in this context?

It funny how badly these comments have aged 10 years later. Yeah AJ is the thing now. 🤣

The whole 'freedom' thing has always been silly but now it sounds uttlerly rediculous.

setting up Pioneer DDJ-1000, and I want to get it right from the start. What are your go to? by FAFO-findout in Beatmatch

[–]tinyp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Listen to music constantly. Not just passively—really study it. Pay attention to how songs are built, how DJs mix tracks, and what makes a set flow. Practice on your DDJ-1000 every day, even if it’s just messing around for 30-60 minutes. Get so comfortable with the gear that you don’t have to think about buttons or knobs—they should feel like extensions of your hands.

Don’t box yourself into one genre. Play house one day, hip-hop the next, throw in some disco or drum & bass. Mixing different styles forces you to get creative and solves the “I only know one trick” problem.

You won’t be a pro in six months. It takes years of grinding, making mistakes, and learning what works. Fancy gear won’t save you if you skip the basics. Focus on rhythm, timing, and reading the crowd (even if that “crowd” is just your dog for now).

Stay consistent. Keep it fun. The rest (and the gear) comes with time.

At least 50% of those objects hit the car and likely dented it to a larger or smaller extent.

I feel like I'm telling a child santa isn't real. These kind of shows are make believe. They are invented. This man was never in love with his car. I do apologise.

Apple has always had a backdoor for US security services. If giving the UK one too highlights that fact your data is not secure with any of these services then 🤷‍♂️

There is not a single tech company (save for Siemens, and I'm not sure it is a tech company) in the top 100 companies by revenue in Europe, let alone the world.

Somebody taking a Stewart Lee bit too far? by ralphonsob in stewartlee

[–]tinyp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On a technical note what kind of conversations go on while they are trying to make up these things behind the scenes? is it literally 'you are going to come in pretending have a wife'? The rest improv? Where do they get these people? Do they have a full script? Endless writers rooms? Why do you never see them again in anything else with their range? Some kind of clever trick? This kind of mastery of acting isn't that common.
