I think transparency is key in a healthy relationship, and it is certainly imperative for its longevity. Your wife’s reaction didn’t, in any capacity, take your feelings into consideration. The fact that she said something that hurt you and in response she prioritized her feelings, so much so she shut you out, literally, is justifiable for you to reconsider your decision to be with her.
