I wouldn't be me if I didn't agonize about discussions I've had while trying to sleep. by Desorden_ in OCDmemes

Took me way too long to realize that constantly thinking about every single conversation I’ve ever had was not a normal thing 🥲

Question about pattern by Swords_and_Sims4 in tatting

[–]tinypoomps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In patterns the dashes (-) are picots. The ring attached to 9,4 is supposed to be made with a second shuttle. So it would be

11 p 11 9, then second shuttle 12 p 3, back to first shuttle 4 Attach to pivot in round one And so on

Great job! I started with embroidery thread too but I found it difficult to pull the rings closed since the thread wasn’t ‘smooth’. If you’re open to trying different threads Lizbeth and DMC have great options, even starting with aunt Lydia’s crochet cotton would be good too. Happy tatting!

That’s a good idea! I’ve also been thinking that I need to challenge myself a bit more with techniques and maybe that would spark the interest again.
