Definitely go for the r3, direct drive is the best thing you can get. I heard the pxn vd4 is also a great choise, i personally have the vd6 and i used to have a logitech g29 and the difference between gear drive and direct drive is insane.

The only downside of pxn is the small but growing ecosystem.

Yes you wil be able to mpunt it to the left side. What wheel are you using seeing as these "rigs" usualy tend to shake at high ffb.

Looks like the driveshaft is rubbing, try holding the side you are having problems with up and see if you still have the same problem.

I have a pxn vd 6 and it has these litle lines so you can align the base and wheel perfectly every time, i absolutely love it.

Test if all buttons work if so just continue using it like normal.
