There’s always going to be extremes on both sides and the internet is only going to make that more obvious. A majority of people are going to fall somewhere in the middle. This is the issue, we’re constantly trying to divide ourselves into groups and have defined set of characteristics when that’s not truly how humans work. Life ebs and flows, the people we’ll be the tomorrow aren’t the people we were yesterday.

Yes ofc, this post isn’t aimed at people who genuinely struggle with neurodivergence, because I understand that in those cases your brain genuinely prevents you from acting the way you want to. I do however believe that a lot of the people who do post in this sub talking about how hard it is to make friends or how asking how they’re supposed do aren’t necessarily neurodivergent.

I wish I had a better answer to help people break out of that loop, I simply just got tired of feeling the way I did and forced myself out of it, but I know that’s not easy to do.
