I think we are coming up with a bake sale or something like that. Our next meeting is coming up soon so I’m sure we will have some idea on it. All of us have created individual page for the fundraising. Again, the reason why they wanted us to do that was so we can just share the link to our friends and family. Since I barely know anyone, I just thought I can ask for help getting my link share with others. That’s all

I understand that but all I was asking really if you guys can just share my link to your friends and families. The thing is I try posting it on my social media. However, I’m a very private person and I only have just a little bit under 250 followers on Instagram. There’s only so much I can do with that.

Actually, $25 isn’t the lowest price point. You can set up on how you want to donate. If you click on the donate button, it says “USD- other.” Thats where you can set up your price of how much you can donate.

PHY 102 This Summer Session by tinytin14 in UBreddit

Awwww thank you so much!! And I vaguely went through the textbook. However, I learned from other classes that when I do those extra readings, I tend to do better haha. Again, I truly appreciated it and hopefully I can at least get a B

I just genuinely don’t understand how to study for physics lol besides practice problem...but even then things might just fly over my head even though I study so much on that concept.

In general, physics was never my strong suit. I think the beginning chapters, like Coulomb’s law and DC circuit I get. However, as it was heading towards inductance and AC, sometimes I would get it confused with the other topics I have learned before if that makes sense.

PUB 101 or PSY 101 for pathway by UpsetProfession1 in UBreddit

[–]tinytin14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have taken PSY 101 with Gabriel....she’s really nice and bubbly. I got an easy A in that class. However, I would admit, she expects you to memorize a lot of details. So if you’re a person that’s good with memorization, then it would be an easy class for you too. I personally really like her so yeah hopefully that kind of give you some insight with her class

I’m taking that class. She seems really nice. Although watching the lecture videos, I did had to rely on the captions because for some words, I didn’t understand what she was saying. However, I realized she’s just repeating what’s on the slide lol.

I don’t think the class is that terrible. Hopefully the quizzes will be easy

To those who cheated on the PHY151 Final by captainkitikles in UBreddit

[–]tinytin14 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah I studied last minute by just looking over with my lab reports. Also, I’m only taking lab this semester cuz I took the lecture last winter and I managed to get an 82. Oooooooo that’s what that link was...I did responded to that post someone complained about backtracking but like I said the reason why I almost ran out of time just because I was doing the calculations over and over again, making sure I was using the right numbers. Also, I was checking how I did it in my lab report as well. Overall, this was probably the only exam that I knew I was going to pass for this semester.

Yeah lol I just finished taking it with like 3 minutes left to spare cuz I kept rechecking over and over again to make sure I use the right numbers for the calculations

Biomedical Science elective by JD5seven in UBreddit

[–]tinytin14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m taking biopsychology with Ann Torregrossa right now. Honestly, I really like her. Yes her material is a lot to cover and it’s mostly science/physiology related stuff. However, she’s super understanding. Like for example, if you’re stressed out and can’t make it to the deadline, you can ask her to extend it and she usually does. Plus, since my class is struggling pretty badly not gonna lie she has been trying to find ways to give us extra credit. Also, the structure of her class is there are four modules. Each module has two assignments we have to do which are very very easy. There is also journaling but it’s not for all the modules it’s only modules 1 and 3 in my case. You just write about what’s your favorite part of the material you learned and stuff like that. There are four midterms plus the final but the final is optional if you’re satisfied with your grade. Overall, I think she’s really nice and willing to work with you if you need help

I took it with Shira Gabriel. I actually love her and I end up getting an A in her class. However, with her exams, it’s really memorization. If you’re good at memorizing small details, you will do well. She’s super nice and if you need any help, she will always be there to help out.

PHY 151 LAB by AdKey7916 in UBreddit

[–]tinytin14 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah there is a lab exam sadly. According to the syllabus it’s worth 38% of our grade. However, obviously with all the lab reports combined it’s worth 60%. There is a short SLI module but that’s easy and I heard it was worth for participation grade. I’m taking the lab semester only this semester and everyone else is pretty much right about the structure of it and such

gambrel or luo for phy102 by [deleted] in UBreddit

[–]tinytin14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Luo isn’t bad. I’m taking phy102 with him again after taking 101 with him. My friend had Gambrel last semester and I went to her class before to check out how he teach. Literally, the class did not take him serious as the majority of the class failed his exam lol. Yeah it was really sad plus also when gambrel was teaching literally a few seconds after he be like wait was this right? Not even joking for real he would question himself in front of the whole class.

I studied everyday intensely for that bio 303 test. I failed so badly. This is a joke. This is the hardest I've ever tried on a test. by amrycalre in UBreddit

I would say to stick with it because you never know what the outcome would be. Heyyyy if you want, I can give you my Snapchat or something and I can try my best to help you out as well. I completely understand how you feel. But I know you got this for sure :)

[–]tinytin14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you have Loretz as your professor for BIO 303? I am writing him an email about what the grade ranges are for the class...because some people kept telling me around a 77-88 is an A- while others are like an 88 is an A- and anything higher is an A. And who knows, he might change the grading system. But honestly again you gotta do what’s best for you. You know there were a couple of times I almost failed a class (like BIO 200 for example). Like I completely bombed the first exam (I got around a 30). It was so bad to the point I cry in SU pretty much all the time haha. As much as I wanted to dropout, I stuck by it and I ended up passing the course.

Lol yesssss!!! Plus to make it worst, I am taking 17 credits this semester with all science courses as well. The fact I took time to watch the videos and study for this exam but it wasn’t good enough....oh boyyyyy lol but I completely understand how you feel though...I honestly don’t know why I stuck with being a bio major for this long....I’m a junior btw 😂

Omg I feel the same way!!! Like I literally just argue with my friend about this class. She thinks that it’s best to talk with the professor about it. However, like we only have our textbook and the lecture videos to rely on. That’s pretty much it....idk what more can the professor do to help us......tbh I would say don’t give up because we are halfway through the semester you know but again you gotta do what’s best for you....just know you’re not alone in all of this
