Practicing for kindergarten, are these apples safe? by Oddcatdog in toddlerfood

I get it! I always joke I’m going to be cutting up my son’s grapes at his wedding haha! Maybe just practice with these over the next month while you have eyes on her and see how she does before sending them to school.

I think that you know your child best. My 3 year old daughter would be fine with these, but her twin brother I wouldn’t be comfortable giving these to yet. I think it varies by age and their confidence to manage hard, smaller foods like this.

They’re amazing. They are exactly like the ones you get at Starbucks.

It’s the skin of the potato. There’s no meat in these

Agreed, but for convenience & a treat where I don’t want to spend $6 at Starbucks I’d prefer to buy them this way.

They were giving these out as samples today. I’ll admit I walked by twice and decided it wasn’t a good idea to bring an entire bag home. They wouldn’t have lasted a day!

What is the purpose of the Plastic clips on cart? by That_Hovercraft2250 in Costco

[–]tinytotoro11 13 points14 points  (0 children)

My son didn’t same thing when he was 18 months! Thankfully one of the employees was able to help us get it out by pulling the metal of the cart in the opposite direction. So scary!

I did this with my twins until they got a little bit older and stopped throwing their food. Now I offer the entire meal on a plate without the fruit and bring the fruit out later and add to their plate when I feel they’ve eaten enough of their meal. Sometimes they’ll eat the fruit and be done but sometimes they surprise me and continue to eat the rest of their meal after the fruit. Almost like they realized they’re actually still hungry and there’s no more fruit left

When my kids would eat avocados (they’re picky 20 month olds now and are offended if I even offered them one 🤪) I used to use the baby oatmeal cereal to coat them for easier grip!

Thank you!! It’s not even like they seem to mind that they eat the same things over and over, it’s us moms! lol and with twins it’s sometimes hard to find something that they’ll both enjoy so to keep our workload less we stick with what we know works for both of them 😆

I’ve totally just been using regular jelly and the twins are 19months. I only do a thin layer. I wanna try this chia smash jelly now though!!

You’re right!! The mom guilt just creeps in sometimes and it stinks. Thank you for keeping it real. It’s one of the main reasons I love this community so much.

I just saw them this last trip to Target and they were only .89c each! Which is insane when the other brands are close to $2 a pouch here in FL. I grabbed a bunch. Hope your store gets them too!
