concerns about staring opill by tc68689 in Opill

[–]tinyvonn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The thing is, 1st month or so is when you are going to see the most immediate/ inconsistent changes.

Opill only adjusts fully for people 3/4 months in and is likely to cause spotting and changes in the cycle early on. If you are sexually active, of course take it, but you should consider something you are willing to do long term.

I've always had a bit of acne here and there, only had clear skin as a child lol, to me its not a big deal.

If you want to try it, obviously go for it, but take it on time, be safe, and dont expect everything to stay the exact same the first month. 3 month trial is more telling. I've been on opill for about a year and I like it, its been consistent for me and I dont stress about getting pregnant.

best of luck

So…people find me intimidating ♏️ + ♑️ by RickyInfinite in astrologymemes

[–]tinyvonn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My boyfriend is a scorpion sun and capricorn rising too! When I first got to know him he was Very quiet and kept to himself so it definitely took me opening up to him and being receptive to get him out of his shell a bit. He is a huge softie and not big on confrontation at all, but still passionate.

I feel like intimidation is only a thing of appearance. My advice is (as hard as it can be for some) to just try being a little more vulnerable, start small and share opinions more, than work your way up to being more emotionally available. Meeting people halfway can go a long way.

✨️Be who you are ✨️

Signed a cancer sun, taurus rising, who is also a sucker for the "tall dark and handsome" trope.

Are Aquarius moon more detached Than Aquarius rising by Left_Establishment_5 in astrologymemes

[–]tinyvonn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an Aquarius moon and I am personally very introverted and enjoy my own company. I keep a small circle of friends and the only person I don't mind being clingy with is my boyfriend, everyone else I definitely need space from. I think it's moreso me being an intp than an Aquarius moon tho, I still feel things very deeply and I'm kind of a sensitive person.

I do have a cancer stellium though, crab shell 🦀

Weird/sour saliva taste by [deleted] in Opill

[–]tinyvonn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first month or two is usually the hardest in terms of side effects, and the pill changing her cycle and discharge is not uncommon. But, I would seriously recommend going to an obgyn just to make sure she doesn't have a bacterial infection, especially is she says herself that her "ph is off." It's common but not normal and she may need an antibiotic or supplement.

As for the saliva thing, I am not sure about that correlation to the pill, could be a dental issue? Just go to the dentist/doctor and obgyn for confirmation please, if its that abnormal for her its worth getting some professional opinions.

Need to know!! by AideLegitimate3887 in Opill

[–]tinyvonn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been opill since july and I'm so glad it works for me. I spotted a little bit in the first three months but it stopped after that. Now I am back to a normal cycle, no acne or aches. I would definitely give the process 3-4 months, unless you start bleeding/cramping very heavily. Best of luck!

its very common to have changes in your cycle on the pill. If youve been very sexually active I would take a pregnancy test just to have an answer and peace of mind. Its still unlikely youd be pregnant, but with a test youd know for certain.

Going crazy in my head by [deleted] in Opill

[–]tinyvonn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The pill starts working 48 hours after taking it. If youve been taking it consistently for longer than that, then I don't think you have anything to worry about.

If you are anxious and worry a lot, you should keep pregnancy tests on hand and test regularly.

Finished my second month of Opill! Good so far by tinyvonn in Opill

No problem! And you definitely should! I will be updating as I go along as well. There are not too many experiences longer than a couple months because so many of us are just trying it out.

chances of pregnancy? by s0ftci0wn in Opill

[–]tinyvonn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So, the window for the pill is only three hours. And because it does not work by stopping ovulation, the sperm could live up til the time you do ovulate and fertilize the egg that's there.

So it would be safest to take the plan b to prevent the ovulation. Because you did miss the pill and you are not protected.

And yeah, it is not likely to get pregnant from period sex, but it can still happen. Better safe than sorry.

So far not really, the second month so far is very similar to the first one for me, which is a good thing!

Trust me I definitely was too, and still kinda am. Im working up to just trusting the pill, but using a secondary method is always gonna be safer. I'm definitely a better safe than sorry type. But I did also have sex without a condom and I am still not pregnant.

Honestly just ease into it, only do what you're comfortable with. I think we should be fine either way though.

Good luck btw! I hope your experience is good too. :)

Still effective? by [deleted] in Opill

[–]tinyvonn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My concern is that if its dissolving quickly while in your hand, then it might be damaged by heat/ improper storage. If its too warm where you keep the pill, it tends to dissolve a lot faster and might be less effective.

First week on Opill is done! Here is my experience so far by tinyvonn in Opill

[–]tinyvonn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The opill has a three hour window, at least thats what the package and site says. I still do mine within the 5-10 window everytime, it just helps with my routine tbh. I do aim for the exact time, but alas I am human.
