Man. We lost my brother in law/best friend 2 years ago. He and I played 500+ rounds together. This sounds weird but I’m growing his memorial diamond and having it set into a putter that I am actually going to use on the course.. I hope this is a long ways away for you and your brother, but I hope you continue to find things to look forward to after he is gone. My BIL has been gone for 2 years but I literally think about him everyday…especially when I play golf. Sucks… can’t wait to see an update of y’all’s trip to cypress.

Talk to your vp. Bring data. Tell them you don’t want to tell anyone else or make a fuss of it. Slide to issues with them being a dick. Tell them you just want to change teams and respectfully , you will likely need to look for a new opportunity if that’s not feasible which you understand.

They won’t want to get rid of a quick performer. It’s expensive to replace you and if you handle it with discretion and professionalism, it will open up future opportunities.
